Apple is Peahaven’s unluckiest resident.

It’s almost as if he’s cursed —especially when Carrot and Toast are nearby. If they’re around, you can guarantee poor Apple’s going to end up with a headache (or worse). He does his best to keep a safe distance.

​

Unfortunately, no distance ever seems truly safe, as he discovered even when moving out of Peahaven.

Apple’s had a string of short-lived jobs, including a stint at Peahaven Estate Agents — cut short after an incident involving a random hippo and Toast covering for him (badly) while he was in hospital.

He later joined the town’s street cleaning team but was let go after a mass yoghurt spill (also caused by Toast).

Despite this seemingly endless streak of misfortune, Apple tries to stay positive and is even planning to ask for his old estate agent job back.

Whether the new owner, Brent Horescroft, is the kind of boss worth working for… remains to be seen.
